About the Rosary

As we pray the Rosary, we pray with Mary and contemplate Christ, just as Mary "treasured all these things and pondered them" in her heart. Mary's life is most intimately tied to Christ's, and she is the model of discipleship by her trust and complete obedience to Christ. When Christ's side was pierced, Mary's Immaculate Heart was pierced as well.

By faithfully praying the Rosary each day, we keep close to Jesus and Mary if we "do whatever He tells you," which is what Mary proclaims to us.

What a gift we have in our Blessed Mother, given to us in and through Christ's sacrifice on the Cross. (John 19:27) Truly we have received "grace upon grace"! (John 1:16)
